but does anyone know what summa cume laude is or any of that college honors gpa stuff? what are the scales for each level and what is each level?

depends on school. I know summa is usually 3.8 though.

magna 3.6 most commonly

and just cum laude 3.4

is 3.8 an A

3.6 an A

3.4 an A-?

no, they're you're accumalative for graduation

they pretty much don't matter, it's the actual gpa which is important

Wait, I thought I was talking about GPA? What do you mean by accumulation? I thought the GPA was just taken, averaged to a 3.4 or something and if you reach it, for example, you'd have cume laude honors.

it's your final gpa after 4 yrs. of undergrad, than they apply the cum laude status if your gpa fits into one of the categories
