Same boat as me except I have a 3.8 GPA and an ACT score of 21. All I can say is you’re knowledge of those languages make you stand out.

@Te4mVygrin‌ what do you mean by “same boat”. How do you possible relate more specific please?

Those languages are unique. Really makes you stand out. I’d say you’re a match even though your GPA is low. Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1728965-chance-me-please-will-chance-back.html#latest

Your scores/gpa obviously aren’t the best but I think your story and languages really really help. You said you couldn’t tell this to the schools you were applying to - did you not have a chance to mention it in your essays?

@barbara888‌, Thanks for giving me hope. I somewhat got a chance to mention about the situation I was brought upon to on my essays, and I also talked about my communications skills in the common app essay. So I guess I did, but i didn’t brag about it. I focused on other subjects of what I was writing about.

I think you chose the right schools to apply for. I’m unsure about Purdue but you’ll get into the rest. Don’t worry!
