We are now entering the beginning of the end! I’ve been browsing these boards for at least a couple of years. One constant observation has been that an astonishing amount of students suffer a significant drop-off in their grades in the final spring semester at CC.
Do not squander your opportunity. Do not diminish all of your hard work. Stay focused and start (and finish) the spring semester strong. Do not allow yourself to be rescinded.
Try to think of this final spring semester in CC as preparation for the rigors of university. Develop and maintain study habits that will prove essential in university. Now is the time to rid yourself of bad habits such as procrastination. It’s easy to want to see this semester as a walk-through, but I advise against that mindset. Make this semester one of preparation.
Good luck to everyone. Let’s keep each other in check. Let’s ensure we’re taking this semester seriously.
I’m really good at procrastinating and i’m trying really hard to not do that. Plus, I have ADD, so my distraction is at an all time high now that this is the final semester before I move on. I’m also taking 6 classes. Better to go out with a bang, I guess.
I got it easy this coming semester. Only have to take one physical science and a history class. Luckily for me, these classes are eight week sessions so I have one class for each half the semester XP
@boxandwhiskers Ha, I am also taking six classes. I don’t -have- to, but I’d like to transfer with 70 units. I also thought it’d be a nice warm-up for the fall when I’m at a university.
@BlackPlasma That was pretty much my original plan, haha.
@uciruby I see my semester as easy too! Despite this I am going to be implementing new study habits. I figure an “easy semester” would be the best time to give such a thing a whirl!
