Dont spend $10.50 to send sat scores!!

First call each individual college admissions office to see if they accept official SAT scores sent from your school in addition to your official transcripts. My school has the option of including my SAT scores along with my high school transcript and class rank. Typically schools will send out your transcripts for free. Most colleges (at least the ones Im applying to) accept SAT scores from your high school. Don't give College Board any more money than you need to!

This surprises me greatly. The universities that my daughter applied to all specified that they wanted official score reports from College Board or ACT.

I have seen this option for some regional universities.

Well the schools that I have contacted so far that do accept this are: Whitman, Whitworth, Scripps (Claremont), Smith, University of Portland, etc. However, Claremont McKenna only accepts SAT scores from CollegeBoard. Most schools do not advertise this option on their websites so you have to contact the school individually.
