It’s imperative that you visit campus before making a decision about whether or not you want to come here, especially if you’re on the edge or can’t decide. Visiting campus made a huge impact on my desire to go to Davis and for a lot of people I’ve talked to, a campus visit really sealed the deal.

Davis has an outstanding, mature, beautiful campus that makes for a great environment. The city itself is unique and friendly as well. You really have to come and visit and experience it to get a good understanding of what the atmosphere here is really like, and chances are you’re gonna like it. So do whatever you can to get a visit in before making your decision!

I visited, it was a nice place. The Preforming Arts Center (Mondavi Center) was amazing. All in all I was impressed, and the smell really wasn't bad, I got used to the "smell" in less then two minutes. If you are on the edge, go visit it as bandislife said.

For me, I'm most likely going to end up at UCSB because of my Major (Finance Math/Stat).

Agreed, 100%. It's a great campus!

I'm going up in April and hoping that from there I can make a good decision!

Also, try to spend some time on your own just walking around or looking at things. The tour is an hour long I think but there's SO much you don't get to see -- the campus is huge and they can only show you so much during a tour. Walk around, go into some buildings, definitely hang out at the MU for a few minutes and see what people are doing. :)

places u should visit: the arc, the library, MU, downtown, the dorms, segundo DC
