Don't you love it when a word you studied shows up on the sentence completions?

I was reading Time mag... and then I saw "avuncular" and had this feeling that I just had to look it up. So I did and it showed up on the May test. hahaha

Is it true that if you put your name on the test you get 600 points?

That is the BESTTT feeling in the world :)

ya..its amazing, or like 4 words u studied are on the same question, and u dont kno the 5th one, process of elimination : D

Happened to me with innocuous/lugubrious.

innocuous / intrepid / ugh a bunch others i can't remember

yeah, it's really a good feeling.....however, for me, it sometimes acts negatively! (such as losing control!)

Throughout the year, my AP Lang class did a word list a week. At the time, i thought it was stupid, but I was so excited when I saw lugubrious and innocuous among others on the test. I even worked nonchalant and other words into my essay.

ravenous showed up as a vocab word on some quiz that we once took, but i knew it beforehand so it didnt help out too much...

unfortunately, tutelage was on the final vocab quiz of the year, which we didnt take/study for yet

oh well

Just so you guys know, both innocuous and lugubrious were in the first official sat booklet thing from 2005. It seems that they're already recycling words after 2 years. Nice...

lol, so all you need to do is learn all the old tests, and search for old answers on here... and you'll be set.

That's what I'm doing... really.
