Doodling in AP test?

So I took my AP Calc BC test today and finished the free response with plenty of time to spare. I got extremely bored and, um, illustrated a few of questions... Plus I just drew a couple other things, like a calculus-loving dolphin. I normally always doodle on my tests in class if I get bored or stuck on a question or have extra time so I didn't think anything of it on the AP test... Will this affect my grade? :/ I can take the hit on the chem test (I was going to do horribly on that anyway) but I really know Calculus and have worked really hard learning and studying it and don't want this to make my score drop...

It wasn't obscene or rude at all! Just cheerful animals doing some calculus. No big deal.

It shouldn’t do anything. However, a test as big as an AP test, and one that you know you have done well at, it truly is irresponsible in your part to risk your score.

Do not listen to the person above me! Last year I drew the Hulk on my AP Euro test saying “GIVE HULK 5!” after I finished my FRQs and I got a 5. Especially on a test like calculus, you have a specific rubric that dictates how many points you get. Graders don’t get to randomly take off points because you have a silly drawing, and if anything I think it would just make them smile. Grading the same question a thousand times gets boring.

I specifically said “it shouldn’t do anything”, I guess you missed the point of my comment after all.

Doodling shouldn’t affect your score unless it makes your written work unreadable.

You should be fine.

There was someone taking the test near my daughter that wrote one sentence and then the rest of the area was an intricate drawing. If I were grading that one I would be tempted to say that perhaps they should be in AP studio art instead :)

It would appear that drawing/doodling is not an uncommon response to these tests!

Everyone has the right to express their feeling and idea here. I just feel sick and tired seeing those comments saying “ignore him” or “don’t listen to him”.
