<p>yeah, but i don't think you can major in just engineering in general. in fact, other than applied math, i think that every major in seas has the word engineering in it.</p>
<p>^nope, operations research, applied physics, material science, computer science. that's why it's SEAS and not SE. 30-50% of the majors are applied science.</p>
<p>You can't double major but you can do the 4-1 program and get 2 degrees, a BA in econ for columbia college, and a BS from seas. completing the 4-1 in 4 years is tough and needs rigorous planning from the start + credit from high school and 6 classes a semester.</p>
