dorm ammenties?

I'm courious on the dorm features of UCLA. What do the dorms come equip with? Do they have mini-fridge, cable tv, internet , etc??

internet & tv are provided- you can rent a microwave/fridge or buy one for cheap, laundry facilities on site. You get the rest of the campus amenities with it - @ Sunset Rec there’s two swimming pools, volleyball courts, tennis courts - nearby @ saxon are basketball courts. There are sometimes mini-gyms with an elliptical, in each building there usually are 2 medium sized lounges per floor, and a large one with a big screen tv on the first floor.

Is there hbo , or any like that on there or plans for it?

Yeap, you can order HBO for an extra fee. Otherwise it’s a standard 80 channels or so.

Thats’ cool. I plan to go there in Fall 2010 either that or U-OREGON or Ut austin.

weather’s better here : )

plus… what are you going to do outside of Eugene? Austin won’t be too bad, but you’re going to be in Texas.

@Deuces. I think you misinterperted what I said. I’m considering to go to either UCLA, or U-Oregon, or UT-AUSTIN. I’m not sure. UT-AUSTIN is my 1st choice obviously I live in TX. 2nd Choice is U-Oregon. Third Choice is UCLA(which in my estimate is a 39 % shot in maybe to a 45 % if I write a ‘good’ personal statement) , 4th choice is U-North Texas, 5th choice is Texas State-San Marcos

haha, no I’m just trying to sell UCLA. UT is a great school, and in-state tuition is definitely a plus, I have a cousin who’s at UH for pharm but trying to transfer to USC. Go with where you’re comfortable, but remember to reach out to the unknown and explore a bit.

whats UH. Do you mean University of Houston
