Dorm bathrooms :O

not to be strange or anything.. but what are the bathrooms like? mind the details!

I've only been to bathrooms at Young Residence Hall.

The bathrooms are tiny, but satisfactory.

The 2nd and 3rd have private bathrooms. However 9th and 10th have shared bathrooms. But still, clean enough to take a dump comfortably.

Bring sandals to be exclusively used at bathrooms. It's important, and you wil know why.

gross. what does it take to get a private one? pure chance? eww.. :(

(thanks, jslee)

Believe me, i've been to some really bad bathrooms, but the ones at Purdue were alright. You can handle them.

As for me, this was a crucial importance...for some prviate personal exclusive reason...i just avoid going to bathrooms that are not satisfactory (?).

Purdue was alright.

If you are a Freshman...you are most likely to be stuck with a public bathroom.

Young Residence is by the way, all man hall.

Windsor is all woman hall.

Son says bathrooms are fine. (Earhart) Yes, he wears flip flops in the shower...says there is a bathtub too although he has not used it. Compared to other places he has seen he said Purdue is "better".

obviously most of these students haven't spent much time traveling in other countries.......where most any American facility is preferred.

you must have traveled a lot hazmat, tell us about it!

NO way can your dorm be this bad.

what is the point? that we should be quiet since there are unfortunate ones in China who are given such toilets?

I think the standards are quite different between the U.S. and China. Honestly, I have visited China many times, but I've seen such bathrooms only at factories (poorly built small factories btw) where factory workers use.

What is the point in comparing the savage bathrooms in China and the U.S. dormitory bathrooms?

Don't ever brag about your salary, you are making thousand times more than what poor ones make in developing countries (?) This isn't apt to what we are talking about here I think.

By the way, don't ever use bathtubs at Purdue...i have heard some horrific stories...

and so you must live in a dorm at Purdue??? after having asked me to tell about travel bathrooms?

what? is that your reply to me

i've been to many third world countries and have seen bathrooms such as those in china. india isn't all that great and the fact that toilet paper wasn't allowed in some areas... :X!!! and i'm sure dorm bathrooms aren't like that, but.. can't help being hygiene-paranoid. i'm not sure if i'll enjoy using school bathrooms all the time. i'll miss not having to wear flipflops and not worrying about TOILET CRABS!!! ahaha..
