Dorm Choice Priority and Preferred Roommates

<p>A friend and I both got into UT and have determined that we would like to be roommates. However, we are a bit unsure about how UT prioritizes the dorm choices of roommates that have already listed each other, especially since I put down my deposit in mid-November and he just put his deposit down last week. If we put down San Jac (for example) as our #1 choice, would we get it, or would we be put in the more spacey dorms like Jester? Also, do we need to have the same dorm choices listed to be put into the same room?</p>

<p>Priority is in order of when the deposit was paid and for a roommate situation, that is whoever deposited first, so in your case mid-November would be the date. It is better if your choices mirror each other.</p>
