Dorm Discussion: Bromley vs. 6-Pack

So there has been alot of conflicting info

Bromley: a little more expensive, bigger rooms, mostly domestic students, crappy food, parties are really fun, really really social atmosphere, the best experience for someone social

6-Pack : cheaper, better food, smaller rooms, not as good of a social atmosphere, larger percentage of international students compared to Bromley

^^^^ Hopkins i know is a part of 6-pack but is most like Bromley in the social aspect, and with the parties

Is this info correct?
Please give me any info avalible
PLEASE HELP

It’s the other way around. I heard the 6-Pack is more social than Bromley. The 6-Pack dorms are supposed to be the party dorms, while Bromley is less social. Either way, unless you’re EXTREMELY social and want to make tons of new friends during freshman year, it doesn’t matter too much. You’ll make lots of friends at Bromley too, and you’ll have tons of fun anywhere. It all depends on you. If you’re quiet and shy, you’ll make fewer friends, even if you live in the 6-Pack. Everything is else is correct, to best of my knowledge. The food at Bromley is not that great, I’ve heard. I don’t think that domestic and international student thing is really true though.

@AGDC18 thanks. I visited both places and Bromley seems to be more of a party atmosphere and people seem to be social while at 6 pack the parties seem to be less

Most of the conflicting info is due to there being legitimate conflicting opinions.

There are no guaranties anywhere. There are party floors and quiet floors in every dorm on any given weekend. You can’t micro-plan for the behavior of your future floor-mates no matter how many message board opinion polls you take. There are enough (many) exceptions to the stereotypes that planning for a specific environment is pretty futile.

@YZamyatin True that.
