I will be a freshman in college this fall and have been assigned to a suite. The only thing I really know is that the particular suite that I am in is 2-level and I have 5 roommates. What is life like in a suite? Can anybody help?

Suite-life is excellent if you have a common room. I don’t have experience with a non-themed suite though. Is yours themed?

I believe [these guys](Disney Channel, Disney Junior & Disney XD TV, Shows & Episodes | DisneyNOW) can help you.

All joking aside, I’ve never actually heard of that sort of dorming. My school has some dorms that are 3 or 4 occupancy, but I’ve never heard of a 2 story for 5 people. Sounds… interesting.

My brother had a suite like that, a 2 story where there was a common room on the first story and then the bedrooms were on the second story…it was kinda cool, I think he liked it.

by suite they mean what would be a suite in a third world country at my school.

i have 3 other roommates but its way better than traditional dorms (10x better)

Suite style is terrible if you have to share a bathroom (which is what usually happens). You will be responsible for cleaning it and let me tell you something…most people don’t clean their bathrooms (even the girls). Community bathrooms are sooo much better. Someone cleans them at least 5 days a week for you. Also, the wait tends to be a lot less.

^ I’m living in normal dorms, but every 2 rooms share a bathroom. Luckily they’re cleaned bi-weekly.
