<p>Does anybody know if it is possible to get a dorm for only a couple of days during the summer? I may or may not get an apartment for the entire Summer Session 2. If I don't get that apartment I will have to wait until about July 12 for another apartment that I will be guaranteed to get. If that's the case then for the first week I will not have anywhere to live. Can I get a dorm for a week or something?</p>
<p>I believe you can, I’d call VT on campus housing and ask about it. If you just need a place to stay in town, there are plenty of cheap motels and I know of one that will let you stay for as long as even a few months at a monthly rate. But yea, I heard you can get a dorm on campus but I’d call VT housing for specifics.</p>
<p>I contacted VT housing people and it seems you can get a dorm for a few days which will be pro rated and you also have to have a meal plan.</p>
