Yes, there are some blueprints of the dorm buildings on the WashU website, but some of the .pdfs don't work, and no blueprint answers all the questions everyone probably has about their dorms. What do the bathrooms look like, what does a modern triple look like, how are the beds placed in a forced double, can the beds be moved? Where are the desks usually placed, what color are the walls, how different are traditional and modern versions of each room size? Ect, ect, ect.
So, I was wondering, does anyone have actual pictures of various modern and traditional dorm interiors, bathrooms included? I'm sure it will answer a lot of people's questions.

I've got some pictures of my modern triple in koenig from last year. Keep in mind that koenig is pretty much the biggest triples (actually, the biggest rooms in general) on campus, so the other dorms will be a bit smaller. lol excuse the pictures of me and my mom, past those two there's pictures of the room and the bathroom (modern rooms have private bathrooms. our triple had its own bathroom, but some share a bathroom with another double.)

Snazzybumblebee7, Thanks so much for sharing your photos, I was particularly interested in seeing them since my D is going to be living in a double in Koenig next year. I noticed that your bed looked like it was very high off the ground, allowing for alot of storage under the bed. Did you do something special to make your bed so high? Was it on bed risers?

what about a modern double? can someone provide pictures please?

nervous - the beds can be lofted very easily, because the headboard and footboard (if those terms even really apply to college "furniture"...) have slats that allow you to raise or lower the box springs, obviously making the mattress correspondingly higher or lower. on the highest notch, you can fit the provided dresser pretty much perfectly under the bed

Beaumont triple pictures? Anyone?

Beaumont double pictures??

these pictures are really helpful! I was thinking of purchasing an XL comforter for my D, but after seeing how you can raise the mattress, do many people use a full comforter, which would hang down further on the sides (hopefully not to the floor)?

when i went to washu for the bschool olin spotlight weekend i stayed in wheeler which was really nice. decently big for a college dorm. i also partied in liggett/koenig and those rooms are nice too. i had a friend in danforth which has some modern doubles and those were pretty big too.

hey "snazzybumblebbe7" thanks for posting the pictures up! I was just wondering...where did you get your comforter? its awesome!
