<p>I'm going through the random roommate thing but just had a couple of questions about housing.</p>
<p>I've heard Granville is known to be the Greek place to live, is this true?
And, what is it like to be in the suite style dorms with 8 other people, and do those dorms have bathrooms on each floor also? 8 people sounds like a lot for me, especially for girls.</p>
<p>Anyways, any info on this would be great so I can make the best decision, I figured CC kids would have good opinions!</p>
<p>There are lots of posts in this thread about dorms and Granville. Go to the bottom of the page, and pull up the menu on threads - click on show all, then show threads. YOu can go back through some of the older threads - and find answers to lots of these questions. I know EADad, a regular UNC poster, does NOT recommend Granville to Freshmen for lots of reaons, and you can find that info in those threads as well as much more.</p>
<p>Actually I don’t recommend it for OOS students at all and only on a limited basis for in state students.</p>

<p>No, suite style south campus dorms only have the suite bathrooms - but that’s really all you need! There are a few bathrooms in the downstairs lobby if you need them, too.
Eight people to a bathroom seems like quite a bit at first but it really isn’t bad at all. I lived in Morrison this year and the bathrooms have 2 sinks, so that usually solved some issues. Otherwise we were just very courteous and waited for whoever was in to finish before going. It’s an easy thing to get used to, and will quickly be one of your smallest concerns in terms of dorm life (working out chores with roommates takes more effort!).</p>
