<p>Absolutely! I would give ANYTHING to go back to senior year and do it differently. Living at home has made my college experience one of the worst times of my life.</p>
<p>however, what no one who recommends a dorm is telling the OP is that roommate assignments can be an absolute crapshoot...one that may not turn out for the best (I know!). Also, given your responses to the first several posters, it would seem that you do not actually want advice and are simply attempting to justify a decision that you have already made. Were I you, I'd look into co-op housing: it's cheap, close to campus, and not nearly as overwhelming as dorm life can be. Good Luck!</p>
