dorm question

im gonna be a frosh next year..i was wondering...if i have my brother come visit me or something next year..he'd be allowed to stay in my dorm right?

Most likely...check your school's policies. Usually they just want the visitor to sign in and not stay more than a certain amount of time. (check with your roommate too)

Yeah, most likely it would be ok, especially if it was only for a night. As long as your roomie doesn't mind.

At most schools pretty much anyone can visit, but definitely check w/the roomie and sign them in!

Depends on the school. There are really no rules here, except that a visitor can't stay more than 2 or 3 nights. But it's a state school. My best friend goes to a Catholic school and boys are not allowed on the girls' floors in the dorm after a certain time. And all visitors must be signed in and out. Period. Obviously most don't obey that, but that rule is there

Wow, I'm a HS senior and I didn't even think about this issue. I'm glad it's here. It's not as big a deal for me since most of my friends are girls anyways. But it's even kind of an issue wif you have a female friend over for a night or two. What do you do if your roommate is like no exceptions whatsoever, no overnight guests at all? Does that ever really happen?
