dorm question

which coed dorm do most live in? i have only seen pictures so i need some help deciding

I have no idea. But don't choose north area, please.

well where do most live in? im a guy majoring in petroleum engineering and i really have no clue where to live in. i dont wan't to live in a all male dorm though

I don't know. I can't think of a dorm where most live in.

But I do recommend south area dorms, like mosher hall. The mosher hall even has a engineering living learning community. You'll have access to free engineering tutor inside the hall.

yucca, why do you say don't live on the north side?

North side rocks!

which dorms would you recommend on the north side?

I live on the north side but I will never recommend it to anyone.

The north side is pretty close to the northgate area. At first,I thought this might be good and convenient but it turned out to be nothing but noisy.

which dorm do you live in yucca?

Schumacher hall.

anyone living in a dorm they really like or visited and really liked a certain dorm?

McFadden is quite nice...

anyone considering any off-campus dorms?
i toured the callway house, and it's ridiculously nice.

i currently have the callaway house lease sitting on my counter. haah. but i'm worried about signing it because apparently it makes you ineligible for certain scholarships.
any one who can shed light?

is the callaway house only available to upper classmen and not freshman?

no. its for freshmen too.

no, its apparently 98% freshman, but i hadn't heard the scholarship thing.
i'll ask around, because i've got a lease as well :P

Why would you not want to live on campus? You miss so much not living in a dorm your freshman year.

i think i was just swayed by the nice rooms :)
but i will most likely end up on campus

But essentially it is a dorm. And its definitely within walking distance of campus. It's just not old like the other TAMU dorms.
