I am absolutely terrified of my bed being high up. I fell off the top of a bunk bed when I was little and have been scarred ever since:-( im going to be a freshmen next year at msu and i was wondering from someone who went there how they have the beds when you move in? are they both on the floor, and you only make them lofts or bunkbeds if you choose??

I don’t know how they are when you get there, but it’s modular funiture so you can set up your bed to be on the floor or as a bunk, ect.

My sister went to State and it just depends on the room. The furniture is modular and it left set up in the way it was the year previous. So it just depends on how the last occupant left it.

It is super easy to change the furniture though and there’s always a parent around (even if they aren’t your own!) who’s nice will probably offer to help make the switches.

Agree, it’s easy to change up you just need to work it out with your roommate after you both get settled.

I lived in Sny-Phi for two years and left my bed down the whole time (it ended up becoming like a couch for friends) due to knee problems making it just too hard to climb. I can’t think of any dorm where you can’t leave them down.
