What are the benefits to each dorm and in your opinion which one is best?

A-I: the “typical” dorm. It’s Co-ed and it’s a lot smaller. It’s cheap though.

Pentland: ~$1,000 more than the regular dorm, but i think it’s worth it. It’s same-sex halls but co-ed floors. There’s like 4 people to a bathroom and you can close the bathroom for privacy. It’s a lot more spacious and looks a lot cleaner than the other dorms.

idk about the other dorms.

Pentland Rooms were a lot smaller and cramped than what I had imagined before I went to see it. It’s also quieter at Pentland.

I visited UCR yesterday

and i liked Pentland and East Lothian both were well structured.
A-I was cramped up and distracting

all the rooms were about the same size though which were smaller than i had expected

A&I is the oldest and chepest with doubles and triples and a cafeteria. Pentland is newer and are suite style(separated buildings w/ smaller halls inside that feature private bathrooms and common areas). Pentland costs more. West Lothian is older. East Lothian has the largest rooms, and some are doubles as well as triples. Lothian has it’s own caferia. Pentland residents can walk to either A&I or Lothian to eat meals.
