Dorm Room Numbers are UP!!

Check out your address on Bearfacts -- I just wish there was a website showing where the actual room numbers are located in the buildings!

=) i chose my own room ~_*

where are you living at?

2nd floor Wada! That means I don't have to go up the elevator if its being slow.

so if i get 502, does that mean floor level 5? And 2 I would guess is near the end/beginning of the hall?

I believe it is in fact the best idea. Ever.

Yay, I don't have to use an elevator. Woot woot, etc. Obesity FTW!

haha, yeah, i don't know if that's the smartest idea ever either. maybe just say the floor, but not the dorm or exact room or something...

well, thats why specifically only put my room number and not building or unit

Questions? Comments? Concerns? Please feel free to come and ask! Dorm hours are 8 am to 9 pm.

ahaha... might as well call the building and ask about it.

Awesome! I'm gonna personally be there at your room on move-in day to "greet" you.. wink wink

harmonically unsettling! :O

All CC'ers receive a special one night stand! While supplies last. Batteries not included.

who's passing out the profilactics?!? lol. . . say, is there any, uh, order in the dorm numbering, like a system? So. . . if for example, I'm in foothill and I have an even numbered room, would that mean I'm on the hill side or the bay side view? Here in L.A. odd numbers on houses and apts are on the west and the south and evens are on the east and north sides of a street. So I guess the question is, does that apply to room nos at Berkeley or are the numbers just random?

can somebody decipher this for me, a new student?

RM ST-_ _ _ STERN HALL
HEARST & HIGHLAND #_ _ _ _

maybe if you can fill in the blanks, the secret message will be easier to decipher!

not sure about other buildings (in u1) but for my floor, the triples (odd numbered) face the outside world and the doubles (like mine) face the courtyard

ps: ruyi, what are you trying to decipher exactly LOL

how's 2nd floor in Putnam (unit 1)? - triple

they are numbers. i'm trying to figure out how to tell what floor i'm on, that sort of thing.

what the? they already released the room numbers?! was this true last year?? 'cause i don't remember getting anything 'til move-in day.

ok ruyi, accordingly
stern has 4 floors, and there are ~60 ppl on each floor
numbers begin on the north side of the stern building (side closer to the foothill dorms) and end on the southside

for example, 101 (floor one northside) ..... 126 (floor one southside)

that's what a former resident told me =)
