<p>njmom, I’m pretty sure the picture Ryan posted is all one bed - in fact, I think it might be missing one side board. Each bed comes with enough of a frame that you can loft it. The tall headboard and footboard actually come apart in two pieces, if you leave the bed down low you don’t need the top halves. One of the problems we had when S moved in at Laf was that we had extra pieces for both of the beds, since the boys decided not to loft them. We ended up storing them between the bed and the wall, because all the pieces have to stay in the room (if you’re missing any pieces, you’ll get fined when they check the room between semesters).</p>
