Dorm rules

Do Yale undergraduates have a dorm curfew?

What are the regulations regarding visitors?

JUst wondering ;)

There are no rules regarding either of those issues. You do whatever you want, basically (as long as you're not having a big, noisy party past 2 a.m. or so).

The big rule: no kegs on Old Campus (where the freshman live). Kegs OK elsewhere.

I may be wrong, but I think only schools with religious affiliations (and perhaps some single sex schools?) have regulations like those you're thinking of.

Generally quiet hours after 11:00 pm on weekdays and 1:00 am on weekends. These hours aren't too strict though but use common sense. Visitors no one really cares about but make sure your roommate/suitemates are okay with it.

Thanks for the info, guys!

One more thing... are there any regulations for having guests who don't go to Yale?

pink: you're treated as an adult. There are no rules on guests besides what you and your suitemates agree to. Common courtesy would have you all in agreement -- although I recall situations where roomies did have conflicts over stuff like this. Guys tended to be much more lax about these issues than women. Go figure
