Hi, I was just wondering what the good dorms to be in are. I'm looking for a nice freshmen dorm with alot going on, active people, and lots of activities/parties on weekends. Any reccomendations? Do I have a choice in what dorm I get put in?

New South is the way to go! Just renovated last year and def the most party-ful. It's traditional dorm style (communal bathrms) which is the only drag but def the most social.
Harbin is good for tight cliches but less party-focused. Village C is good if you want your own bathrm and that's about it...

thanks. New south def sounds like the way to go. Nice dorms and parties sounds perfect to me

Yeah, New South definitely sounds like its the best. It's a shame we don't get a choice.

New South is the quintissential college dorm experience. Some people like it, some people don't. It's not too hard to imagine the pros and cons - there's always something going on, it's pretty loud, you're never bored but it can feel like you're never alone. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, it's not too difficult to fill out your housing preference survey in a way that makes it likely you'll get new south.
