Was anyone able to tour a dorm as a prospective student at Villanova?
We toured the school in summer 2022, winter 2023 and Junior Preview Day (March 2023), but were not shown a dorm. I can understand why we were unable to see one during the school year, but was surprised when we were not shown one in the summer.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Many colleges don’t show dorms, for the privacy of residents, and the fact that not all college dorms are created equal. My daughter toured Villanova in 2018 with her friends so I’m not sure if a tour was included. Her college showed the super nice new honors dorm (which is where she ended up), some of the other dorms are old with no a/c of elevators. I don’t think dorm tours were a thing at my other kids’ colleges, again, big differences between the dorms.
The dorms we were shown on tours, especially summer tours, were not a selling point. I think you find out a lot more online.
