Dorming @ CSULB?

Are single rooms more expensive than double? I'm planning to dorm for spring as a Junior so will I get first pick?

It doesn’t mention anything about singles. Spring students won’t have first pick over students currently housing. My friend dorms and her roommate backed out and now she has the dorm to herself. She never got a replacement roommate so I’m assuming there is plenty of room.

[Housing Fees, Housing & Residential Life, CSULB](http://www.csulb.edu/divisions/students/housing/campus_housing/fees.htm)

Single rooms are $1,000 per semester. Their popular picks, so be sure to check availability ASAP. You may want to call housing and get room numbers. The fall dormers saw a list of available buildings and then got to pick the exact room they wanted, based on what was available.

thanks! finding a room mate will probably be a lot cheaper

Er… that website doesn’t exist…

anyone got into a dorm? i signed up late and haven’t gotten anything. i don’t think there’s even any open rooms lol

I decided not to cause it’s way too expensive.

right now i am wait listed. hopefully i get something. anyone have their to do list high school transcript updated yet? mine still says i need to mail them it but i already did like 3 weeks ago.

$1,000/month is extremely expensive for Long Beach… I’m sure you can find an off-campus room for less than $500/month.
