I am a third-year college student looking for tips on how to prevent a dorm from smelling like the food that is cooked there. My room is like a small apartment; 4 bedrm, 2 bath, and a small living area with a small kitchen in the middle. Last year my roommates would cook on the stove and in the oven and the room would ALWAYS smell like their food! Any tips on how to prevent this? To prevent cooking aromas from lingering and being so strong after meals are cooked? I just like everything to smell fresh all the time, and after a long day it sucks to come home to a smelly dorm! I read about this one remedy: sitting out a bowl of vinegar on the counter to capture the food smells during cooking. Anyone have any other tips? Thanks so much!
Use febreze air purifier, the ones that stick on the wall and keep your room smell fresh for 45 days. You probably need 3 or 4 since you got many rooms in your dorm.
Put air fresheners in common spaces and in your room.
