dormrooms

What colleges allow same sex to stay the night/room together? me and my boyfriend are heading off to college soon and want to be together but arnt ready to get married yet..

Not too many allow mixed sexes to dorm in the same room, it’s rare. I’m sure you could find a list if you google. It isn’t worth me doing the work especially if you don’t have the stats to get into those colleges. A lot of colleges don’t pay attention to who is staying over in who’s room. and don’t have rules against it, check before applying. But you’d better get singles, at least one of you because it isn’t fair to your dorm mate to have the boyfriend staying over excessively. You see, even if there isn’t a rule against it, here are roommate agreements and not too many people want an extra person there all the time. You might also consider that after a year or two you can get an off campus apartment to share instead of dorming.

I think it is a poor way to choose a college, picking the least important factor and having that drive everything.

I think you mean different sex, not same sex. Edit the OP

Rooming in a dorm with your boyfriend is an extremely bad idea. Only looking at school that offers Coed dorm rooms is an even worse idea. The chances of you breaking up are insanely high and the last thing you want is to be living with your ex and have him bringing his girls to your room. Very very VERY bad idea. Probably one of the reasons that most schools don’t allow it on campus. A lot of schools will allow you to move off campus as a sophomore, junior, and senior. If you feel the need to live with your boyfriend (even though it is still a terrible idea as a college student) you can do it then. But don’t limit yourself.
