Dorms and Holidays

I'm trying to plan flights back home and I'm wondering which holidays are we kicked out of the dorms?
I think they close the dorms for winter break right?
But what about thanksgiving? are we allowed to stay in the dorms for thanksgiving?

^They lock the dorms for winter break and spring break.

If you want to stay for thanksgiving, you can, but just know that there will likely be no one else there! I remember it was super deserted last year. The dining halls close too.

ohh okay thanks! =]

i’m staying for thanksgiving.

i think i might be too, plane tickets back home are so expensive because i forgot to book earlier

Do we have to move all of our stuff out of the dorms for winter break and spring break?

no lol, just when you move out at the end of the year

x3anna: just where is home? Southwest and others will have low fares and special offers betweeen now and Thanksgiving – you can be sure.

Dammit, I should’ve looked into this sooner. I heard that Southwest had a really good sale a few months ago. :(

^^^But that was only for flights booked until October 3 for only $29 one way.

Southwest at Thanksgiving is expensive this late in the bookings. Book now for the winter break. I’m staying on campus for Thanksgiving too but family will drive down to see me there. That is cheaper than flying me home.

mm not too far, just the bay area…

southwest is cheap, i got my one way ticket to san diego for $40 for next week, but for the holidays all the cheapest tickets are booked because I didn’t plan earlier, so it’ll cost me at least $200 to fly to SF.

My family is planning to drive down to SD as well.

I’m from the bay too and I want to fly home but tickets are about $70 one way…I mean coming back for a good 4 days would be really nice ! So I don’t care much about the cost, I just don’t want to be alone on campus during thanksgiving…There are bound to be people that are driving back.

BTW anyone driving back to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving !!! PM me !!!

Where are you finding one way tickets for $70 during Thanksgiving without skipping classes? Southwest is running $160 each way on those dates. If you find a $70 fare, you should grab it.
