pleeease help if you can! :]
1) so i just found out that i'm in wigglesworth.. does anyone have any information on that dorm?
2) i heard the bedrooms are small with bunk beds but there's a larger common room. Is it possible to take apart a bunk bed and move one of the beds into the common room?
3) also, space is kind of an issue.. i have SO MUCH stuff and i have no idea how to fit everything in. I'll definitely try to bring less stuff, but we have 3 closets and 4 girls.. i really don't know how it's going to work. from pictures i've looked at, the closets look tiny too.
4) how is the lighting in the rooms? are there big windows?
5) how is the social life in wigglesworth?
6) is it really thaaat far from annenberg and the science center?
Thanks so much!!

here’s the link. sorry other didn’t work

The closets are tiny, so plan to have some of your “hangables” in storage under the bunks, and hang as needed in season. Wire hangers allow more to fit than plastic tubular hangers.

You will have to meet with all your suitemates to decide bed configurations, but generally people prefer a community common room for socializing or studying. The bunk room will mostly be for sleeping.

Wigglesworth is close to everything, maybe 5 minutes to Annenberg and Science Center, and 1 or 2 minutes to Lamont.

Lighting is dim in all the freshman dorms, you’ll need a desk lamp, and maybe a stand up lamp with multiple, movable bulbs. Windows are standard colonial style–small (see photo link above.) All the dorms are as sociable as the people in them.

Wigglesworth is beautiful architecturally from the outside, great colonial charm, right on Mass Ave. You’ll have a great time!

Sounds like you’re off to Hogwarts or something the way you described your dorm. Wigglesworth, eh? How about Mugglesworth. :)

Alot of my friends lived in Wig and the Wigglet…
- so i just found out that i’m in wigglesworth… does anyone have any information on that dorm?
Its a pretty decent dorm. The vertical entryways proctor closeness between members compared to hallway entryways. Proctors in Wig are also really cool.

2) i heard the bedrooms are small with bunk beds but there’s a larger common room. Is it possible to take apart a bunk bed and move one of the beds into the common room?
Unbunking the bed is a possibility but it looks like you will probably have a quad and two bedrooms so unbunking would not help that much.

3) also, space is kind of an issue… i have SO MUCH stuff and i have no idea how to fit everything in. I’ll definitely try to bring less stuff, but we have 3 closets and 4 girls… i really don’t know how it’s going to work. from pictures i’ve looked at, the closets look tiny too.

The closets are kinda small. Err on the side of less. And don’t forget about underbed storage.
4) how is the lighting in the rooms? are there big windows?
Some of the windows are really awesome. It depends on your location. Some windows look right into the square. My friends window looked into the harvard bookstore.
5) how is the social life in wigglesworth?
I am not sure. They (Wig) did hold this party once near the end of the school year.
6) is it really thaaat far from annenberg and the science center?
No. nothing in the yard is far from the science center or annenberg.
