Dorms at UNC

anyone knows stuff about the dorms? do you have different levels of dorms?
I mean, I know places where there is a shower for each floor, is that the same in UNC or are there some dorm houses with in-room showers? that's just an example for what i mean, if anyone knows anything please share :-)

Thanks,

I personally plan on staying at Granville Towers. Granville Towers is just on the edge of the campus. It costs only a little bit more than on campus dorms, but you get all your meals there, 4 people (suite mates) to a shower, and its very close ot classes. I dont know to much about the on campus dorms sorry.

At UNC they have dorms on the hall layout and they also have suites with 4 rooms (2 person each) and a bathroom attached. However, some of the south campus dorms are lacking in air conditioning. I've visited Morrison on south campus if you have any more ?s.

which dorms are considered the best in UNC in terms of facilities, room size etc...?

hmmm, kinda tough to answer. I live in Morrison, in a front room and thats big enough for me. I guess North Campus would probably be the best. The newly renovated ones are pretty much the best. I think Cobb is opening up next year, that should be nice. I've heard that HJ North, Craige North, Morrison South, and Ehaus south are nice too, but I've never been in them.

thanks unccadet08, do you know where can I find some more specific info of what each dorm building has to offer?
thanks
