I know some schools kick the students out of dorms over the holidays. Any idea what UW's policy is regarding students staying in the dorms over breaks? Thanks!

“The residence halls (except Stevens Court) are closed to all students during Winter Break (from 12 noon on the Saturday after finals end, until the Sunday before winter quarter classes begin). The residence halls remain open over the Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break; however, there is no on-campus dining service during the Thanksgiving Break.”

thanks! so when exactly on Sunday can you move back in? the Sunday before winter classes begin, that is.

That is a good question. I had to look quite a bit of looking around since I don’t remember from last year, but I found that they opened at 8 AM last year, so I’m assuming it’s about the same this year.
