We are getting ready to put my sons housing app in. We are considering summit, braiden, parmalee and corbett. Which does anyone think would be the best for freshman. He wants suite style to live in. Thanks for any help.
This response is definitely late, but I figured I’d weigh in just in case you’re still thinking about it. Currently I’m in Durward and if I could do it over again I would chose Braiden because of its proximity classes and adequate dining hall. It’s really nice to be able to go back to your dorm between classes! For second place, I would pick Corbett because it’s arguably the nicest freshman dorm and it’s close to Durrell, the best dining center on campus. As for culture, Braiden is a bit more laid-back and is quieter than Corbett which is known as the “party dorm”. It really just comes down to whether he prefers convenience (Braiden) or luxury (Corbett).
Hey petalist, I tried to send you a private message. I’d like to get your thoughts about Corbett versus Parmalee for best dorm selection. Thanks.
@petalist My son son signed up for Parmalee and found a roommate already. How is Parmalee?
We have the Academic Village Aspen as #1 choice then Laurel Village
