Dorms for Juniors?

I will be a junior next year. I want to get a dorm that ideally doesn't have a lot of freshman, hopefully lots of juniors. What dorms typically have a lot of juniors? I hear West Quad, is that it? What about Cambridge house? I hear they have big rooms.

Cambridge house is mostly upperclassmen and I have heard grad students, but it is not easy to get in there-- I have tried hard the last two years and didn’t manage it and ended up taking a single with private bath in Newberry instead, which I think I like better anyway. I have heard, but do not know from personal experience, that Cambridge is very quiet and is not a social spot, so if that is important to you you may want to look elsewhere.

Otherwise, I have not heard of any dorms that are known for having lots of upperclassmen, or else I would probably live there.

I don’t know many people, so it would be nice to meet some people that are juniors too. On the other hand, I don’t party much, and don’t drink, so I am not really looking for that in a dorm. Just people to hang out with.

Also, what about the Hill dorms? Which ones will have upperclassmen?

Well I can’t say I have experience with it but North Quad is newly renovated and only for upperclassmen so I would take a look at that.

I live in Cambridge and it is anything but social. I personally like the silence, but if you are looking to meet many people I wouldn’t really recommend Cambridge.
