<p>I wanted to ask when do we have to inform CMU regarding our dorm preference and are we allowed to choose a roommate instead of them randomly assigning us to one??</p>
<p>I got waitlisted and I will apply for priority waitlist, so my decision will come by 7th May. IF I get in, can I get the dorm of my choice if I inform them after 7th May?? Can I choose a roommate after 7th May??
Also how quickly will dorms fill up, ie will get I get the dorm that I want? Which would be the best dorms to choose? And can we change dorms during the 1st year or in the 2nd/3rd/4th year??</p>
<p>And lastly, when will we get the final notice about which dorm we have got and who is our roommate??</p>
