<p>How bad are the dorms in terms of living? Are they really dirty? Is it like World War III for the guys restroom? Do people pull dumb pranks in the living spaces?</p>
<p>yeah with hobos and **** everywhere in the hallway… fungus in your food, and a fire every week, then you have to dodge all the kids shooting at you with their paintball guns on the way to class…</p>
<p>yea dude i dont know how anyone survives here its like a third world country, the walls aren’t even there its just wooden beams and crap all over the place</p>
<p>plus half the time there are puddles of water filled with mosquitos in the hallways from the leaking and moldy floor/roof</p>
<p>also people aren’t allowed any trash cans so they just throw their crap in the hallway and half the time the bathrooms are closed so they just **** outside the door and hope you dont step in it</p>
<p>but really, you dumb or something? dumbest question i’ve ever heard in my life ever</p>
<p>well what i meant was, i visited a dorm once and the newer ones were ok, but the old ones seemed hard to sleep in and there was hair everywhere but guess that was just that one</p>

<p>ok serious answer then: it is not bad at all living in the dorms, it is not dirty at all unless you make your room dirty, restrooms are generally clean with cleaning staff cleaning everyday, and almost no pranks would be pulled…</p>

<p>how about bathrooms. if youre in the halls then theres only one bathroom for the entire floor, right? is it a war to just go pee?</p>

<p>interestingly enough, the hall bathrooms are never full. you will never have competition for sinks, toilets, and showers. </p>
<p>hot water does run out in the morning sometimes…its weird, half of the showers are always fine while the other half is ehh</p>
<p>The dorms are very small compared to UCSD. It’s 3 people to a dorm room and bathroom requires a card swipe from what I seen.</p>
<p>It was clean when I visited. Just depends on your room mate too!</p>
<p>On my floor: 6 shower stalls, 6 sinks, 2 urinals, 4 crappers. Split across about 40 guys.</p>

<p>me and my homeboys rampaged the entire canyon point last year after we got back from a party…it was so bad that cops came…funny thing is, my RA didnt call the cops, some uptight idiot did. my bud took the blame and had to do community service, but my RA just wrote him off. </p>
<p>another incident: halfway thru spring quarter, when it got hot. me and my bud decided to go down to the store to get some supersoakers. and i wud knock on his door and come to his room and completely drench his bed…and his roommate’s because he was ****ing me off.</p>

<p>in 2 years i have never had to wait in the bathroom except maybe like 2 minutes for a shower occasionally</p>

<p>And to the person who asked the question, just live in a plaza if you’re so worried. It’s not that bad. The hall bathrooms do get cleaned once a week; the plaza bathrooms never run out of hot water…</p>
<p>if you get a personal/shared bathroom, hot water NEVER runs out</p>
