Howdy y’all! I’m a female and got accepted into the CS Major at TAMU about a month ago. I’m new to registering for dorms and such, so I would like some suggestions as to which dorm I should apply for. I’ve applied to some other universities and I’m still waiting on their response so until then, I’m assuming that I’ll attend here. Which dorms are supposed to be the best (top 3-5)? Thanks!
Depends on what you mean by “best.”
Nicest and newest- White Creek apartments and Hullabaloo. Also the most expensive. White Creek is not super convenient to freshman level classes since it is on the west side of campus.
After that, the modular style dorms. Take your pick between north and south side.
You’ll likely only have one or two CS classes your first year so trying to get close to the CS building is not really a big deal.
You lose your priority if you don’t put your housing app in within 30 days of admission.
