Whenever anyone visits Syracuse they are unable to see the dorms! What is the deal on them? I heard Ernie Davis is the nicest. Is this true? Thanks for the feedback!

Do you get to see them for admitted students day?

Yes, you get to see them on accepted students day (Friday, right?)…

Freshman housing is a random selection process unless you apply for a learning community…

My daughter lived in ED last year. She really liked having the split double. She applied for one of the learning communities that was hosted at the dorm.

My son is a freshman and living in the honors dorm on Brockway, by far the most renovated and biggest on campus, best dining room upstairs and it is connected to two large towers all with freshman. They are called the BBB

From someone who is a Freshman right now, I applied for Housing for next fall and the majority of nice dorms were reserved for incoming Freshman.

The majority of you will get split doubles, because the majority of rooms available to us soon-to-be Sophomores were all the horrible open rooms.

I still ended up with a split, I’m not trying to be sour, I’m just saying the incoming Freshman will probably have nice splits.

None of the dorms are that horrible. It’s all about preference, because they all offer different benefits. Ernie Davis is the best, but the entire baseball team was in there this year.

Sports teams get best housing. But you Freshman don’t really have to worry. Most of the crappy rooms were already given out, haha.
