I still haven't signed for dorms yet (i didn't pay $25 and didn't turn in that form) is it too late to get a good dorm? and also is hume a lot harder to get into? i heard all the honors kid get to live there...but can non-honors ppl live there also? ....i should have done dorms thing earlier...but still not too sure if i want to move out of the house or not

non-honors students can only live in Hume during the summer. I'm not sure if it's more competitive than other dorms, but I know that in past years they have had honors overflow into Simpson. It's not too late to get a good dorm, but turn in your application ASAP. I'd recommend moving out of the house if you can afford it, it's a great experience and it'll give you some independence, which is always nice. :)

^^I thought honors overflow went to turlington?

turlington is actually a classroom building, not a dorm. but i don't know, it was simpson a couple years ago when i was in hume, but they could have changed it to somewhere else. i doubt they would change it to a dorm outside the tolbert area, though (graham, weaver, tolbert, simpson, i think that's it), because that's right across the street from hume and they want to keep the honors students there so they're able to go to hume and attend SHO (student honors organization) events.

****, I meant trustler, not turlington. I could be wrong, but I thought I remember being told that.

Oh yeah, I think you're right. They're actually in the same area and are similar dorms, I just mixed things up. (And this area is the Graham area, not Tolbert as I originally said, even though Tolbert is close they're separate areas.)
