Dorms?

Out of all the schools you have visited, which have the most impressive dorms? For me, I'd say Choate. Very spacious!!

the taft dorm that i saw was 'cozy' i guess you could say. but there was a really nice common room.. like really nice! i could not believe how nice it was

Taft looks like such a great school. I wish I could've applied there, as well as St. Paul's and possibly Choate and Andover.

Maybe next year! :(

The outside of the dorm buildings at Taft are beautiful-the inside seemed as good as any others we saw. However, all the buildings at Taft (academic, cafe, library, ath. facilities, etc) were amazingly clean- sparkling really, inside and out.

i love the taft campus..

dude. hands down HOTCHKISS. aamazing dorms, none better.

I loved Choate, but maybe I'm biased. The dorms were really sweet, some of them being old houses that were painted red-brick. The kids there didn't seem completely anal - their rooms were thankfully MESSY. Andover's dorms were spacious, but I didn't like the setup. I'd like to sleep in the same room that I study in, and the small closet with the bed in it annoyed me. The person's room we visited was so neat I felt like throwing up. Then he had these awards tacked up on the wall in a triangle. I didn't like that Deerfield has singles (so I'm not applying), but their dorms were very neat and spacious.

Dorm rooms can vary within a school. It often depends on which building you are in and even which floor within a building.

Remember, Olivia, that that might just have been the dorm you saw. The dorm I saw at Andover was quite messy. :D
