<p>Yes, you can choose your housing. There are five dorms (Hecht, Stanford, Eaton, Pearson, and Mahoney). Most freshmen live in Hecht or Stanford. Hecht is nicer :) You can also choose to live on a Quiet Floor or a Substance Free Floor. Quiet Floors have quiet hours 24/7, and Substance Free is reinforcing your commitment to not have alcohol or drugs, though you can't have those in your dorm regardless (unless you're over 21, then you can have alcohol).</p>
