dorms

i was wondering if anyone knows how many doubles, singles, and triples miur has and if all of them were suite styled?

check this out

http://hds.ucsd.edu/muir/index.html

okay this is kinda double post from another thread i posted but this seems like the more appropriate place to post so..... are triples worth the save in costs? i keep hearing bad things about them but the save in money is very appealing.

all dorms are suite styled. there is 0-1 doubles, 2 singles, 2-3 triples per suite for a total of 11 people/suite.

triples aren't that bad. they're a little annoying space-wise and the fact that you need to accomodate 2 people's schedules but other than that, it's ok.

o wow there are only 0-1 double??
i was really hoping to get a double haha

forget it. on my floor last year, there were 2 doubles for some 44 people. chances are, you'll get a triple if you ask for a double.

what r the chances of getting a single at ERC

what about for revelle. should i put single in hopes of getting a double or what? i would really prefer a double, nothing else

About 1/13-15 get a single in ERC, some are sophomores if apartments fill up.

How many doubles are there in Warren? I wanna try to stay away from a triple as much as possible, as I can imagine it's terrible. I'd really like a double, and if not, then a single ... anyone have any input?

warren has no doubles in the res halls. (there's two suites with doubles but they're on top of an assistent res dean's apartment so maybe that's why)

anywho, warren suites have 4 singles and 2 triples.

warren only has doubles in the apartments.

How are the dorms in Thurgood Marshall? How many singles, doubles, triples etc..

so basically, if i am going to Muir, i have a pretty good chance of getting either a triple or a single? i wouldn't mind living in a single but i am concerned this may damage my "college experience." then again, living with one stranger would be difficult enough, i am not sure i could live with two of them. any advice?

is it possible to get an apartment in warren as a freshman? its either apartment or single =P

i think marshall has 4 singles and 2 triples per suite. i can't be sure.

singles rock. if your suite or you are social, you can walk in and out of everyone's room as you please, so this won't damage your experience. it's what you make of it.

only under super extenuating circumstances can you get an apartment in warren as a freshman. i've only heard it happening once and this was because of a mixup and housing didn't know where to stick the person. don't count on it happening.

and eleanor roosevelt?
