Personally everyone I know has come to love their dorm, except people in Brown (the wellness dorm) who did not request to be placed there. They each have their own merits.
Randolph, Blackwell, and Bell Tower have AC and are close to the gym.
GA and Southgate are also close to the gym.
Jarvis and Aycock are literally right next to the bus stop.
Wilson has suites and is close to the library.
Pegram, Alspaugh, and Giles are all close to the library.
Bassett has basketball players.
Epworth is really tight-knit because it’s the smallest dorm so everyone in it gets to know each other pretty well.
Brown is good if you requested it.
If for some reason you’re not happy with your dorm, it’s not hard to switch. One of my best friends was in GA originally, but all of her friends are in my dorm. She was able to switch in with relative ease. Overall I wouldn’t worry too much about which dorm you get placed into.

SriverFX I’m pretty sure that’s not true about A/C…my roommate and I both selected non-A/C on our apps and ended up in A/C. Mom called RLHS and asked if we could skip paying A/C because we didn’t want it…that was a big no. Lol
