For those first-year student who choose to dorm at UCLA with random roommates, is it possible to be paired up with a second or third year students? Or are first-year students only matched up with other first-years?

lol, chance of that is almost 0. 2nd and 3rd yrs have already picked their exact rooms and their roommates.

although logically speaking, u might be paired with a transfer, but i highly doubt that will happen.

Not necessarily true. I picked my exact room, but I have no idea who my roomate is.

Doubt it, most 2nd and 3rd years would have picked doubles not triples and since the chances of a first year getting a double are extremely low then you don’t have to worry too much about it.

But yea, I picked my exact room but don’t know my roommate either.

I must be one of those few people because I got a double as a freshman. (Thank god I didn’t listen to those people who said don’t try for because I wouldn’t get it. ^_^)

Soo… does that mean I have a higher chance of getting a 2nd/3rd year roommate?
