hi everyone. well i have no idea what hall i will pick for summer b term. i have scaried to even think if am going to like whatever dorm and hall i pick, my roomate, and the housing style. please help.... =(

For a roommate I’m using an app on facebook called “roombug.” It could help you find someone you’re compatible with, check it out. lol be prepared for rejection though, everyone using that program seems to be looking for a certain type of person in particular to room with. I thought I got along with one person but it didn’t work out because I wasn’t a christian, another person was only interested in an asian roommate with a certain SAT score. haha so it’s kind of rediculous but it can be a good resource if you meet someone you’re compatible with.

It’s better than waiting to see who you’re randomly assigned to room with, which could be someone who likes to do drugs in the room or blares music while you’re trying to study/sleep.

thank im trying to sign up but what do i put for where it saids “enter location key for living area?”

Enter “83320130”.

It was in an email that UF sent out to some people, but not others for some reason. I didn’t get the email, but my girlfriend did and forwarded me the code.

Speaking of which, my gf is still looking for a roommate for fall 2010. If you’re academically focused, don’t do drugs, are reasonably neat and friendly PM me and I’ll link you to her fb.

thanks again… here is my facebook link [Welcome to Facebook](<a href=“Facebook - log in or sign up”>Facebook - log in or sign up)

i dont do drugs, im neat and i think im super nice… i would like to get to know her…

MAYBE that code was not intended for anyone who didn’t get that email?

Use RoomBug on Facebook. I pretty much found my soul mate on that application, lol. She was like my twin. Same major, interests and even future goals. It was crazy.

@ B3, report it if you don’t like it. I didn’t get the email, but I am going to be a UF student and the fact that I acquired the code allowed me to connect with other people and as a result I found a roommate in a matter of days.

The code should have been intended for everyone living on campus next year. I assume the fact that not everyone got it means that someone in the housing department messed up and didn’t send it to everyone. If it wasn’t I don’t really care to be honest. I got the code regardless and it helped me find a roommate, which is the point of the roombug app.
