I just answered your question and you asked it again!

^Sorry for the blooper wolfmanjack. I probably skipped that line while reading! My bad.

Somebody in my home country told me about the much sought after Dean’s List at Brown. Can anyone explain what this is?

I’ve never heard of a Dean’s List at Brown…Brown doesn’t compute GPA and doesn’t have a list of student who did best in each semester, which is generally what a Dean’s List is. Brown does have Latin Honors (Magna cum Laude), a Greek Society (Phi Beta Kappa), and the ability to graduate with honors, but I’m fairly sure there’s no dean’s list.

Thanks Uroogla! What do we mean by Latin Honors and a Greek Society? I am sorry but it will take me some time to understand the university lingo!

^Thanks a lot!

Is achieving the Latin Honor very difficult at an intellectually provoking place like Brown?

I’m not sure anyone can answer that. 1 in every 5 students will get that, but that means 4 in every 5 will not. Everyone here has managed to be accepted to Brown, so it’s impossible to say if one would be able to get Latin honors just because they got in. It’s obviously possible, but you need to work hard to do so, to say the least.

Thanks Uroogla for that!

I was also wondering if the entire Brown campus is Internet enabled or not. Help anyone?

Of course it is.

Thanks modestmelody!
