<p>So, no, you can’t test out of the intensive writing requirement. </p>
<p>You can get two hours of credit for W143 with a four or five on the AP English Composition (not English Literature) AND a 32 or above on the ACT English Composition AND a score of 660 or higher on the SAT writing section.</p>
<p>You can also get the W143 credit with a 670 or above on the SAT critical reading section AND a score of 660 or higher on the SAT writing section. </p>
<p>You have to notify the English department of the scores in order to get the credit.</p>
