1) so i know you can count one sector requirement with a major requirement, but you can do the same-or more-with minor requirements? and can foundational approach requirements be used for the minor?

2) i'm probably going to double major in IR and econ. is it one sector requirement for either major, or one sector requirement for each major?

You can count as many requirement courses as you want towards a minor, and foundational approaches can be used for the major or the minor with no limit on double-counting.

You can double count one course from each major toward a sector requirement. For example, if you are doing a major in Religious Studies, you can count RELS125 (Intro to the Bible) toward Cross-Cultural Analysis, Humanities and Social Science as well as your major.

Feasibly, you can fulfill all thirteen requirements with as few as nine courses, presuming you test out of the language requirement, take a writing seminar and double-count the other three courses with Sector requirements. I only had to do twelve requirements (2012 and later has an extra Sector), but I finished them with ten courses.
