Double Major and Minor

Hello,

I am a double major in Economics emphasis Int'l and Int'l security and conflict resolution pec Cooperation, conflict, and conflict resolution. I have a 3.82 and am on track to graduate in 3.5yrs. I have the chance to add a finance minor and complete college in 4. Should I stay the extra semester? I am debating masters (depending on the quality of school) I have an interest in development policies (IMF/World BANK) and also in financial markets (stocks bonds etc). I have worked throughout college at the PD and as a wealth advisor intern. My academics havent taken away from getting work experience. Worth the extra 15 units? More marketable for work? More competitive for masters?

It really depends on what you want to do. Rather I would decide what you want to do then find the path that gets you there the fastest. If you want to get a job at a bank, a finance minor couldn’t hurt. It also depends on your finances. Do you have the money to stay another semester or would it require loans? Think about your situation and only add it on if you can handle the load, it is beneficial for what you wanna do, and you have the money for it.
